Our mission
Education for Paix works to make quality education accessible to underserved communities, equipping learners with the knowledge, confidence, and values needed to build peaceful and thriving societies.
Paix is French for peace. It is in our name because we do not treat peace as a subject to be timetabled — it is the reason the rest of the timetable matters.
What we believe
Four ideas we keep coming back to. They are drawn straight from our mission.

Access comes first
A brilliant curriculum helps nobody who cannot reach it. Distance, cost, language and disability are education problems, not side issues.

Knowledge, then confidence
Facts alone do not change a life. A learner who believes they are capable of asking questions is the actual outcome we are after.

Values are taught by example
Cooperation, fairness and disagreement without violence are learned in how a classroom is run, not from a poster on its wall.

Communities lead
We work with local teachers, parents and leaders. Programmes designed elsewhere and delivered here do not last.
What we do

Teacher training
Practical coaching for local teachers: lesson design, classroom management, and teaching mixed-ability groups without leaving anyone behind.
Peace & values education
Sessions on cooperation, conflict resolution and civic responsibility, woven into ordinary lessons rather than bolted on.
Family & community engagement
Working with parents and community leaders so that school attendance is something the whole community protects.
